A vampire facelift, also known as a facial, is a non-surgical medical procedure. It is a minimally invasive technique that uses blood cells' healing process and therapeutic properties.
For the vampire facelift procedure, platelet, a rich fibrin matrix, is used that is derived from red blood cells. Blood components and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are first separated in a centrifuge. It is then combined with hyaluronic acid filler, creating a matrix rich in platelet (PRFM).
The treatment is known to naturally increase collagen production, blood flow, and natural soft tissue healing. It also allows skin growth and fat tissue regeneration.
Vampire facelift uses PRP injections similar to those used in PRP therapy in sports medicine. The PRP treatment utilises growth factors, stem cells, and blood components. It allows healing processes and treats injuries such as rotator cuff, tears, tendon injuries, muscle injuries, back pain and nerve injuries.
